PEOPLE'S CHOICE JUDGING
One of the questions that we hear from people that attend our event is "Why can't I taste the competitors food?" The answer is very simple. The contestants are here to compete, not vend and they don't make enough BBQ for people to sample. But, we have come up with a solution to this problem!!! A select number of our attendees will get the opportunity to judge the contestants BBQ Pork in our new People's Choice Judging Event!
We are providing each team that wants to compete in the People's Choice Event with a whole boston butt to prepare just for this event. We are selling a limited supply of tickets tickets for $10 each, which will give you a chance to judge.
The judging will take place on Saturday, July 18th, in the ballroom of the Inn at Wise at 2:30pm. Each People's Choice Judge will get a minimum of eight 2 ounce samples, maybe more depending on how many teams compete. That's a minimum of 16oz. of championship caliber BBQ for only $10! Now that's a bargain! Tickets will go on sale at the Wise Town Hall and at Powell Valley Bank in Wise in June. Remember is a limited supply of tickets so you better get yours before they are gone!
